Regional and State Events
In addition to our Sunday afternoon program Box Hill athletes may compete in the Region and State championships. There are four main inter centre competitions: Relays, Track and Field, Multi Events and Cross Country. All athletes in U9—U15 are eligible to enter these competitions. Entry for Track & Field, Multi Event and Cross Country is completed online through Little Athletics Victoria (LAVIC). Relays are entered through the relay team manager.
Note that parents will be required to perform a duty at Regional and State competitions.

Relays
There are 3 main Relay Events that Box Hill Little Athletics Centre enters relay teams for. All are held on Sundays except for State which is Saturday

Multis are held over a weekend. Each athlete competes in 5–7 events depending on the age group. All the points are tallied at the end of the day. This competition is a great opportunity for anyone to have a great time and meet other athletes from all over the state.

- Box Hill Invitation Relay - Please note, as Box Hill will host the Region Relay Day this season there will be no Box Hill Relay Day
- Region Relay Carnival
- State Relay Championships. The fastest teams from all region championships are chosen to compete here.
Track and Field

- Region Championships. Athletes may choose to enter in up to 4 events. There is no other program at Box Hill on this weekend.
- State Championships. The top 24 Athletes from all regions are then chosen for each event in each age group to compete.
