New season starts - THIS SUNDAY!! Hi BHLAC families!! We're back on track this week! Thank you everyone for your patience while we waited for the green light from LAVIC.
The great news is our official start date at Box Hill LAC is this Sunday 14th November at the track for our competition program. Whilst the normal start times apply. We would like to invite the U6 & U7 On Track kids an early start program which will include a skills based warm up from 1:15pm. On Track events will commence at 1:40. For the U8's and upwards the normal 2pm start time remains. Click on the link below for the Program A timetable program_a_sunday_2021-22.pdf Training starts THIS Wednesday 10th November, 4.30pm - 5.30pm Steve Cain will once again head our athletics training group each Wednesday for the season. So as we can ensure we have the appropriate number of coaches per athletes, we need all parents to register prior to training day. Click here to register for Wednesday night training Uniforms Uniforms will be available to purchase this Sunday 14th November at our centre meet. Parent Support Program The SignUp parents support program once again will be used to allow parents to nominate for a parent duty. Each family must complete at least 6 duties per season to allow their children to qualify for an end of season award. Note: - There will be no Age Group Assistant roles offered this season. - You will be required to choose a role as there are to be no spectators at this stage in the venue - Duties are offered on a “first in, first served” basis, and you are required to stay for the duration of the shift. - Some duties have been split from 1:30 - 3pm and then a change over from 3pm - 4:30pm. This will give parents the flexibility to be able to see their children participate whilst still playing a role on the day. The more parents that actively support the program, the easier and more smoothly the event day runs. Please support the club and most of all our children and sign up to a weekly parent duty early.
