Week 4 was definitely not what we had hoped for. Finally the poor weather caught up with us and we had to cancel our Friday night twilight event. Whilst we ended up having a weekend off with our normal program, it didn't mean our BHLAC athletes were void of athletics. We had a significant number of BHLAC athletes compete at the Athletics Victoria All Schools Championships. This is a significant event on the AV calendar. Congratulations to everyone that competed on the weekend and good luck to everyone competing this weekend at week 2 of the All Schools Championships at Lakeside. This week coming is going to be busy. With only a few weeks to go until the Box Hill Relay Day we are looking to finalise teams for not only this event but also for the EMR Relay Championships in December. Please chat to your Age Group Manager's if you would like to make a team. We would also like to thank and introduce Karen Choong who has gladly accepted the role of BHLAC Team Manager. We are also looking for another parent that would be interested in supporting Karen so if you would like to assist with this role, please let our Committee know. We will be introducing some training as part of the mid week training from next week onwards so please look out for more info over the coming week. Program B this Sunday at the track.
